When buying salmon, look for Alaskan WILD CAUGHT. While farm raised salmon is fattier than wild caught, most of the time it can be full of poor quality omega 6 fatty acids instead of powerful anti-inflammatory omega 3’s.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter (grass fed or organic) or avocado oil
- 3-4 salmon fillets (wild caught)
- salt and pepper
- 2-3 garlic cloves (optional)
- parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Heat oven to 475. Place butter in baking sheet and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Put pan in oven to melt butter.
- Once butter is melted, place salmon in the pan, season with salt, pepper and garlic.
- Roast until the salmon is just cooked through, 8-12 minutes.
- Remove from oven, garnish with parsley.
