Constipation is defined as:
- having less than 1-2 daily bowel movements. Yes, DAILY.
- difficult or hard/dry bowel movements.
You may be thinking to yourself, “1-2 DAILY?!!” Over 50% of people struggle with chronic constipation. Many people feel like they are doing good if they go once a week, or even once every two weeks!
I cannot stress enough how important it is that we are eliminating properly! When we are not, our kidneys, liver and lymphatic system have to work extra hard to compensate. Hormones & toxins are also reabsorbed if they are not eliminated.
Fun fact: Did you know we should be eliminating 2.2 lbs of waste daily?
