Full of protein and healthy fats, these healthy peanut butter bites are perfect for an afternoon snack with a cup of coffee or hot tea!
They freeze well so mix up a double batch and stick them in the freezer! I took these to my first ever public workshop and they were a huge hit!
Recipe Notes:
- Read the ingredients on your peanut butter. Peanuts and maybe some salt are the only things that should be listed. Avoid the peanut butters with added sugar and inflammatory oils. Choose organic if possible.
- Add maca powder for an energy boost and to support your adrenals and hormones.
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup raw honey
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1 tsp maca powder (optional)
- cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Warm peanut butter and honey on the stove using low heat until runny.
- Mix in almonds & oats.
- Add cinnamon & maca. (optional)
- Stir until all ingredients are well coated.
- Roll into bite-sized balls.
- Cool in fridge.
